ESurveying Softech (India) Pvt. Ltd Products work on Both Hardware Lock or On Soft Key. If you are using Product License using Hardware Lock, then you need to upgrade it every 3 Months. If you have Product License as Soft Key then it is not applicable to you.

Why Hardware Lock expires?

Customers sometimes may loose hard ware lock or some one may steal hard ware lock, in these situations it is permanent loss for customers. So, to avoid and protect authorised customers from financial and other hardships and keeping customers’ interest in mind this feature is introduced. As a security measure Lock expiries every three months and each lock needs to be updated by using the application we have provided. In case, lock is lost and if informed to us then we will disable that particular lock.

How to update Hardware Lock?

Every three months Hardware Lock expires that is, on March 31st, June 30th, September 30th and December 31st .You can easily update your lock by connecting your computer or laptop to internet or connecting your Hardware Lock to the internet enabled system. Please follow following instructions to update your lock:

• Make sure that you have plugged your Hardware Lock to USB port where there is internet connection.
• Install the Lock updating EXE (Either from CD provided to you or by downloading it from the internet). Click on Update Lock and you will get lock updated message. You can continue to use the application for next quarters

1. I don’t have internet connection at office or home. How to update the Hardware Lock?

Internet connection is necessary for upgrading the lock. You may visit internet Cafe (Browsing Centre) and upgrade your hardware lock by plugging into USB Port in internet enabled PC.

2. I had set future date in my system and lock got expired. Now, I have set back the system date to correct date, still same message ‘Lock Expired’ is displaying, what has to be done?

In such cases also, you have to update the lock. While updating the lock, always program refers to our server date, and hence without any problem your lock gets updated.
