1. In how many layers can user put the values in?
'ESurvey Sections' allows putting data in upto 50 layers.
2. Is the Drawing Generated in ESurvey Sections plot ready?
Yes. Sections can be directly printed from within ESurvey Sections or can be exported to CAD. It allows printing the individual sections separately, or, grouping multiple drawings to accommodate in single drawing sheet.
3. What are the different types of Area/Volume calculations available?
ESurvey Sections calculates the Area/Volume in 2 Methods:
- Trapezoidal Rule
- Nett Area Calculation Method
4. Is it possible to define formation levels based on gradient?
Yes. Once defined this way, the software will automatically interpolate the respective values for all thESurvey Sections.
5. Can ESurvey Sections alone satisfy my requirements? Or does it need supporting CAD wares?
ESurvey Sections can alone be sufficient to generatESurvey Sections from raw data and can even print the drawings. However, if further editing of thesESurvey Sections is required, then sections may have to be exported to CAD.
6. Can the drawings be adjusted dynamically to achieve the required area?
Sections created in ESurvey Sections can be modified by dragging the vertices; also extra Vertices can be added or deleted. So by editing vertices, the dynamic area adjustment can be achieved.
7. What are the outputs of ESurvey Sections?
Basic outputs of ESurvey Sections are Section Drawings, Area and volume calculation reports. Additionally, the section data (Elevations and respective distances) can be exported and the values can be interpolated at required distances and exported.
8. What are the other features of ESurvey Sections?
ESurvey Sections is specific software for creating Longitudinal and Cross section. It offers importing of data from Excel and CAD for creating sections. It allows to creatESurvey Sections and thesESurvey Sections can even be arranged in such a way that multiplESurvey Sections can be inserted in single drawing. Sections can be exported to CAD format. Sections can be modified within the software either by changing the input values or by dragging the vertex of the section lines.

9.How many methods of interpolation are available in ESurvey Sections for interpolation?
ESurvey Sections offers 3 methods of interpolation:
- Straight line Method.
- Interpolation using TIN (Triangulated Integrated Network).
- 3D Polyline method.
10. Is interpolation of values along L sections and cross section both possible?
Yes, interpolation algorithms are same for interpolating values for LS and CS, but the program for exporting data to 'ESurvey Sections’ is different. Please note that the output expected will be little different for one LS section and one section has to get generated in case of LS Export and multiplESurvey Sections in case of Cross section. So, different programs need to be run to export data to ESurvey Sections program.

11. Are the points auto line joined?
No, by default the points are not auto joined. However, to enable this feature, a lisp has been provided which does the auto line joining, after exporting the data to CAD.
12. Are the points generated in CAD by ESurvey Sections in 3D or 2D?
You can either generate a 2D or 3D Point drawing using the TopoDraw Module under ESurvey Sections.

14. Is ESurvey Sections available in Multi user version?
All 'ESurveying Softech (India) Pvt. Ltd.' Products come with single user license only. For using it on more than one machine of same organization, one has to buy additional licenses.
15. Does ESurveying Softech (India) Pvt. Ltd. customize its products?
Generally, customizations are not encouraged as the product by itself addresses most of the requirements. However, in case of certain specific requirements, customization can be taken up at an additional cost. In such a case please email us at info@esurveying.net with detailed description of your requirement.

17. Which version of AutoCAD is ESurvey Sections compatible with?
It works with all the version of AutoCAD right from above AutoCAD 2000.
18. I wish to use the software in different machines - What should I do?
Software comes with 2 type of license a) Hardware Lock b) Soft key file.
If you have chosen hardware lock license, it is simple, for whichever machine you insert the hardware lock it will work, if the basic system requirements are met. Please note that it can be used in one machine at a time.
If you have chosen Softkey license, license is for specific computer and hence you will not be able to use it on different machine, to use it on different machine you have to buy additional license.
19. How to know about the Latest Product Releases and Updates?
Software new releases or updates are generally not frequent in nature. On an average there might be a couple of releases per year.
