    Plotting from E Contours Directly

Now it is possible to scale and print the drawings directly from E Contours without having it to export it to any other CAD Software. Just click on ‘Preview’ on the top of the Viewer.

Configure all the print settings like Scale, Paper size from within this screen. Then, select the printer and click Print to print the drawing.

Now, for generating contours in CAD, a new menu has been provided. With this menu, the contours can be generated just by clicking a menu option instead of running a lisp every time.

    Better Viewer

The new version of E Contours incorporates a CAD like viewer with much more powerful zooming facility.

With this viewer, the contours can be zoomed in greatly to observe even the minutest objects or texts. The Preview is now more dynamic and powerful with Layerisation that supports renaming of layers along with other layer settings.

    Other Minor Interface Changes

The Color and Layers button in the earlier version has been replaced with the Layers and Settings option located above the viewer.

    What is dropped?

Generate Contours either in Contour generation Interface or CAD Package.

    1. Generates contours very easily from data available in Excel or CSV file. Data available in both Excel and CSV form can be imported to E Contours for contour generation. Few points among imported data may be eliminated for contour generation
    2. Generates contours for interval of user’s choice. The interval for generating contours can be specified before contour generation
    3. Contour Identification Contours can be marked as Major / Minor or Contours color can be gradually changed
    4. Specific Contours It is also possible to draw contours for specified contour value

Contours can be generated from CAD package

    1. Generate contours from CAD package. In CAD, generating contours is just a 3 –step process
    2. Detailed Layerisation
    3. Contours can be annotated at End points, midpoint, and at regular interval. After the contours are generated, they can be annotated at endpoints, midpoint and at regular interval. Also, optionally lines can be trimmed around annotation text
